Herb Pharm utilizes organically grown shepherd's purse plants to produce this top-quality liquid herbal extract. The Capsella bursa-pastoris plants are organically grown on their own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. They assure optimal extraction of the shepherd's purse's bioactive compounds by hand-harvesting only the flowering, above-ground parts of the plants, which are then taken directly to their laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.
