Source Naturals S.O.D., or superoxide dismutase, is the general name given to a class of enzymes which make up an important antioxidant system in the body. They neutralize free radicals (harmful byproducts of cellular respiration), particularly the superoxide radical, the most common free radical in the human body. Each serving delivers 2,000 activity units of S.O.D.
