Unlike water-soluble ascorbic acid, fat-soluble ascorbyl palmitate exerts its antioxidant potential of vitamin C directly into the lipids of molecules throughout your body for optimized free radical protection at the cellular level. In vitro studies have shown that ascorbyl palmitate may be more effective as an antioxidant in protecting lipids from peroxidation than water-soluble vitamin C.

Horse Pills
These guys are huge and chalky. Pure Encapsules makes an Ascorbyl Palmitate in the same dose, but way easier to swallow pill. They are slightly more expensive, but not by much and totally worth if you have to take more than couple of these a day.Ester C
