Pink salmon is the smallest and most abundant of the pacific salmon species. Its flesh is light in color and delicately flavored. Due to the ample quantities of this species, it is by far the most reasonably priced and readily available. To preserve the natural flavor of the fish, as well as to warrant that there is nothing but healthy fish passed on to the end consumer, Raincoast Trading's salmon are kept in their natural state once caught. They do not administer any antibiotics, hormones or genetically modify the fish in any way. I purchased the Rain Coast salmon because I was so satisfied with the Rain Coast tuna I had purchased. I couldn't wait to try the salmon and I was very disappointed with the product. The taste was very bland and unappealing. I would never buy it again.Not so good
