NOW Foods Pine Bark Extract is naturally derived from the inner bark of Chinese Red Pine, a significant tree species of the subtropical forests in China. It is prized for its powerful free radical-scavenging polyphenolic flavonoid constituents, oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). In addition, scientific studies indicate that the bark extract may help to support healthy cellular growth and reproduction. Green Tea Extract with EGCg has been included in this product for its flavonol content to complement the free-radical neutralizing and cell protecting effects of Pine Bark Extract.
