Lee Swanson's Ultimate Probiotic Formula is a highly potent probiotic supplement, featuring 66 billion organisms per veggie cap. It includes more than 20 billion acidophilus organisms along with select cultures like the famous Kyo-Dophilus blend. But that's not all. Ultimate Probiotic Formula also includes 100 mg of prebiotic FOS (fructooligosaccharides) to nourish the probiotic organisms and help them thrive. Research suggests that taking non-enteric coated bacterial probiotics with or within 30 minutes prior to a meal may help increase the survival rates of the bacteria versus consuming the probiotics after a meal.
