MAKE MY AWARD-WINNING OATMEAL® AT HOME:
Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Steel Cut Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.
STEEL CUT OATS IN THE SLOW COOKER:Combine 4 cups water, 1 cup oats and ½ tsp salt in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours or overnight. Makes 4 servings.
