Full Spectrum Mustard Seed
The Swanson Mustard Seed supplement I purchased a couple of weeks ago appears to be a wonderful product. The price was great, allowing me to afford several bottles. The capsules are small, tasteless and easy to swallow. I feel that the product does what it’s intended use is for and I feel like my health is improving. The bottle itself is small with green tint. It has an easy to read label. The Mustard Seed caps are 400mg each. This bottle contains 60 capsules which is a 2 month supply. This is always a fantastic feature to be able to get more than 1 month out of any supplement. The bottle itself is easy to grasp and the twist off lid unscrews nicely. I have looked all over the internet for a Mustard Seed supplement and Swanson brand seems to be the only company I can find who makes it! This is a quality product and I would encourage others to definitely add this supplement to their health regimens. I am very happy with this purchase and will be back for more.Mustard Seed

Swanson mustard seed has been a healthy addition to my supply of supplements. The good quality goes along with helping feel better in the digestion department.Excellent in combination with Broccoli extract
I started taking this because it is the complete mustard seed, containing the active myrosinase enzyme. This enzyme is necessary to liberate isothiocyanates, etc., such as sulforophane, from the glucosinolates from broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables and crucifereous vegetable extracts. The myrosinase is typically not present in the broccoli extracts sold, so they aren't very effective alone. Myrosinase is also destroyed by cooking. Combining this mustard seed with broccoli extract gives the effect of eating uncooked broccoli, which is what has so much evidence supporting its consumption. They don't put the isothiocyanates in the supplements because they aren't stable enough, so they must be created in the intestines by the combination of active myrosinase enzyme and glucosinolates. This supplement is the cheapest way I've found to achieve this without eating all of that fresh broccoli, something that just isn't going to happen.
