Nutri by Nature's Fusions delivers Neuro-NAC, a source of NACET (N-Acetyl L-Cysteine Ethyl Ester) which may help protect the body from free radicals. The well-known NAC (N-Acetyl cysteine) has a bioavailability of about 6% while NACET has a much higher bioavailability of 80%. This makes NACET far superior to NAC 600 mg because of its ability to rapidly enter the cells. Because NACET is lipophilic (fat and water soluble) it does not pool in the stomach and is not hoarded by other cells. This means NACET can be absorbed by red blood cells and can cross the blood-brain barrier. Once NACET enters the cells, it is rapidly transformed into NAC, cysteine, and ultimately glutathione. Cysteine supports detoxification and glutathione is essential for proper immune function. The addition of Glycine and Selenium make this blend even more powerful and promotes even more Glutathione synthesis. Glutathione helps support optimal cellular health for brain, lung, and all other organs and tissues. NACET is a yellowish powder, with a strong Sulphur smell, which is one of the reasons why it works so well. The esterification process of NAC now uses sulphuric acid as a catalyst, thereby increasing the bioavailability by 20x.
