Manage weight and help neutralize carbs with Swanson Ultimate Carb Control . Sourced from purified white kidney beans, this extract helps inhibit amylase, the enzyme that is necessary to break down carbohydrates, making it a potent “carb blocker.”
When one serving of Ultimate Carb Control is taken with a meal, some carbohydrates will remain undigested and pass through the GI tract much like fiber. You will still feel full, but because the carbohydrates are not digested and absorbed, you avoid the problems normally associated with a high carbohydrate meal.
Stimulant-free Swanson Ultimate Carb Control delivers white kidney bean extract standardized to 6% phaseolamin, an alpha-amylase inhibitor. White kidney bean extract also impacts secretion of a hormone called ghrelin, known as “the hunger hormone” because one of its functions is to signal the brain that it is time to eat. Moderating ghrelin may produce a sense of satiety or fullness, leading to appetite control. When used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise program, this may assist with weight management.
