What Makes Chelated Mineral Glycinates So Superior? First we need to understand the chelation process. Chelation is the result of minerals becoming chemically bound to amino acids in a very specific manner. Chelation occurs during the digestive process to facilitate transport of minerals across the intestinal wall so that they may be utilized throughout the body. Amino acids are not the only "chelators" available, but they are ideal for minerals. The body is very efficient at absorbing individual amino acids, and Albion has identified the amino acid glycine as the preferred molecule for creating organic chelated minerals. Glycine is readily identified and absorbed across the intestinal wall, and Albion's glycinate chelates are actually small enough to transport right into the cells themselves!

Wonderful ingredients
I have been using this for probably more than a year and find it one of the best Cal/Mag products that I have used.Great quality but NOT enough capsules per bottle.
This is great because it has the Gold standard in minerals by Albion's TRAACS. It has the perfect ratio of calcium to magnesium being 2:1 ratio. However the problem here is in order to get the proper dosage of 4 capsules daily, 1 single bottle will ONLY last 2 weeks. That means a year supply is 24 bottles. NOT EASY for us as consumers :( In addition Swanson only allows a 6 bottle maximal purchase. A bottle needs to have 240 capsules so that it can last 2 months with 4 capsules daily (recommended dosage).Essential Calcium & Magnesium Supplement
I love Swanson's Albion Chelated Calcium/Magnesium caps. They are effective, easily absorbed and have just the right amount of calcium and magnesium. Perfect!
