Ingredients: Certified organic 100% Arabica Decaffeinated Coffee.
Directions: Grind beans just before brewing: Coarse for coffee press; medium for automatic drip. Use 1-2 level tablespoons of ground coffee per 6 ounces of water. This can be adjusted to suit individual taste preference. Brew with filtered water and a clean machine or press.

Q: How is the coffee decaffeinated?
A: This coffee uses a water decaffeination process. A first batch of green unroasted beans are soaked in hot water, which releases caffeine and coffee solids into the water, and those beans are discarded. The water then passes through a carbon filter that traps caffeine but lets the coffee solids pass through. The resulting water is then ready for a new batch of green unroasted coffee. The coffee solids from the new batch of beans are not removed, but the water dissolves and removes the caffeine. This process is repeated until 99.9% of the caffeine has been removed and trapped in the carbon filters. The beans are dried to maintain their flavor and smell. The process is chemical free.
