Say no to your toughest food temptations. Swanson Glucomannan+ is a high potency fiber that creates a feeling of fullness, while chromium and gymnema help manage your cravings for sugar and carbohydrates. That feeling of fullness—called “satiety”—can help manage appetite and potentially reduce food intake at later meals, a key part of weight management.

Swanson Glucomannan+ features clinically studied Chromax® chromium picolinate and Liposan Ultra® chitosan. Highly bioavailable chromium picolinate is popular for managing food cravings1, while chitosan binds to and helps eliminate certain fats in the digestive system.2,3 This comprehensive formula also includes Gymnema sylvestre, a traditional favorite for helping maintain healthy blood glucose4 and energy-boosting L-carnitine to encourage an active lifestyle.

Fiber such as glucomannan is an excellent companion to a GLP-1 weight management journey! Not only does it support satiety to help you manage your food intake, it also acts as a prebiotic, contributing to a diverse microbiome. This boosts gut health and activity, and helps maintain blood sugar and blood lipid levels already within the normal range.

Adding Fiber to Your Routine? Prime Your Gut for Success

You’re doing right by your body and trying to intake more fiber. Unfortunately too much fiber too soon—or in a microbiome that isn’t ready for it—can lead to digestive discomfort. We want to set you up for success, so here are some tips for adding fiber and sticking with it.

First, add fermented foods (think yogurt, sauerkraut or kimchi) to the menu for a couple of weeks. This essentially primes your gut with more abundance and variety of good bacteria species that can then help you break down additional fiber.5

Next, start with a smaller dose of fiber and work your way up. For example, if a serving is two gummies, start with just one; if it’s one capsule three times a day, start with one capsule once a day. Gradually increase until you’re at the full recommended serving.

Last, as always, drink plenty of water throughout the day to support hydration and gut motility.

FAQ
  1. What Is Glucomannan and Why Is It Important?
Glucomannan is a soluble fiber derived from konjac root. It is valued for its ability to absorb water and form a gel-like substance in the digestive tract, making it a popular ingredient in digestive health and weight-management supplements.
  2. How Does Konjac Root Help You Feel Full?
The glucomannan fiber in konjac root absorbs water and expands in the stomach. This helps promote a feeling of fullness, which is why konjac root is often included in weight-management routines.
  3. Can Konjac Root Help With Weight-Management Goals?
Konjac root is commonly used to support weight-management efforts because of its glucomannan content. When combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise, it may help support healthy eating habits and overall weight-management goals.
  4. When Is the Best Time to Take Konjac Root?
Konjac root is often taken before meals with plenty of water. Because glucomannan absorbs water and expands, following the product directions and drinking adequate fluids is important.
  5. What Makes Swanson Glucomannan+ Different From Other Fiber Supplements?
Swanson Glucomannan+ features glucomannan, a soluble fiber derived from konjac root that can absorb many times its weight in water. This unique property helps promote a feeling of fullness and makes glucomannan a popular choice for individuals seeking digestive wellness and weight-management support.
  6. Is Swanson Glucomannan+ Suitable for Special Diets?
Swanson Glucomannan+ is non-GMO and dairy free. However, it is not suitable for vegan diets because the capsules contain gelatin, and it is not gluten free.
