Preparation Hints:
FRENCH PRESS
Start with 1/4 cup of Chai Maté per quart of water. Allow to steep in hot (not boiling) water for 5-8 minutes. Adjust the amount of Chai Maté according to your desired strength. Add milk and sweetener to your taste.
ICED TEA
Make a stronger brew by using 1/2 cup of Chai Maté per quart of water. Allow to steep in hot (not boiling) water for 7-10 minutes. Add milk and sweetener to your taste and Pour over a full cup of ice.
TEA POT OR TEA BALL
Start with 1 tablespoon of Chai Maté per 12 oz cup of hot (not boiling) water. Let steep for 3-5 minutes. Adjust the amount of Chai Maté according to your desired strength. Add milk and sweetener to your taste.
COFFEE MAKER
Use 1/4 cup of Chai Maté per quart of water. Adjust the amount of Chai Maté according to your desired strength. Add milk and sweetener to your taste.
TRY A MATÉ CHAI LATTE
Using your espresso machine, put slightly less Chai Maté in the espresso basket than you would use for coffee to allow for expansion. Pour in steamed milk and sweetener.
