Doctor's Best® SAM-e 200 mg delivers 200 mg active S-Adenosyle Methionine in each enteric coated tablet. SAMe is involved in numerous biochemical reactions in tissues. It enhances mood and neuron function, promotes joint comfort and mobility and supports liver health and detoxification. SAMe is also required for the biosynthesis of critical neurotransmitters and hormones. SAMe is derived from the amino acid methionine and is one of the most important methyl donors in the central nervous system. Vegan.

Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium silicate, calcium chloride anhydrous, flake shellac dewaxed, magnesium stearate, magnesium hydroxide, glycerol, silica, arginine base, sodium alginate, calcium oxide.
Suggested Adult Use: Take 1 tablet twice daily between meals, or as recommended by a nutritionally-informed physician. Do not chew or crush tablet.
WARNING: Individuals using antidepressant medications should consult with their prescribing physician prior to using this product. Individuals diagnosed with bipolar disease or manic depression should avoid supplementing with SAM-e. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. May cause gastrointestinal discomfort in a small percentage of people.
