Bob's Red Mill® Yellow Corn Polenta (also known as grits) is a wonderfully easy dish made from coarsely ground bits of degerminated corn. It has long been a traditional staple of both northern Italy and the American South. Traditionally, it is cooked and eaten as hot porridge or cooled until firm and then sliced into rounds. For breakfast, try this polenta served with milk and honey. For lunch or dinner, it's excellent topped with butter, cheese, marinara or gravy. Bob's uses only the finest golden corn for rich and flavorful polenta that is sure to delight your palate any time of day.

BASIC RECIPE FOR QUICK POLENTA
- 3 cups Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Bob's Red Mill® Corn Polenta
Bring water and salt to a boil in a medium pot. Whisk in polenta and reduce heat. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 1-2 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
