  • Highly stable, water- and fat-soluble form of vitamin C
  • Works to neutralize free radicals
  • Offers antioxidant protection for healthy aging

NOW Foods Ascorbyl Palmitate is a highly stable form of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C. Ascorbyl palmitate is soluble in both water and lipid, and this dual solubility allows it to be incorporated into cell membranes where it neutralizes free radicals and helps maintain healthy tissues. While it possesses all of the antioxidant properties of vitamin C, it can also more easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, facilitating the extension of its antioxidant activities to the brain and nervous system.
