Active ingredient: Dried leaves of senna.
Also contains licorice root, fennel, anise and caraway seed, dandelion, peppermint, papaya, strawberry and peach leaves, juniper berries, centaury, lemon verbena, cyani flowers and parsley for flavor and fibrous qualities.
Directions: Recommended for taking at bedtime. Take half a teaspoon dry on tongue. Wash down with water or your favorite fruit juice. For children: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, according to age.
CAUTION: Do not use this or any laxative in cases of nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain or other symptoms of appendicitis. To avoid the laxative habit, take only as needed.

I have used this product for several years. My body has not become resistant to it like other products I have used including Senna and Milk of Magnesia.
