NOW Probiotic Defense is blended into a fermented whole food base, and is a combination of "friendly" probiotic bacteria, including ones commonly found as soil organisms. FOS is also included in this product to assist healthy growth of Acidophilus and Bifidus organisms. NOW Probiotic Defense is stable at room temperature, requiring no refrigeration.

PART OF PROBIOTIC PROGRAM
I take a high potency variety of different strains of beneficial bacteria every day. From time to time I work in different products that have different combinations, because I don't want to be missing any sources or types of friendly flora that would be beneficial to my gastrointestinal tract. Not that I ever have any problems in that area; it's that I don't ever want to have any problems in my gastrointestinal tract or with my immune system. Upon examining the labels on different high quality, high potency Probiotic Products from different brands, I decided to work this PROBIOTIC DEFENCE from NOW Foods into the rotation. With my system, I don't feel that I'm leaving out anything that would be important to me. So far, so good. Works for me.
