Potassium Iodide (KI) is a compound that contains iodine, a nutrient necessary for normal thyroid function. NOW Potassium Iodide Plus also supplies potassium, a mineral that is essential for the maintenance of healthy water balance and whole body pH.

I have been taking these iodine with potassium supplements by Now for a few weeks and so far so good. I bought another bottle so I won't run out. They're easier on my stomach than kelp so that helps.easy and inexpensive

I Bought these to try out because of the situation at Fukushima Japan. Not only am I getting an extra dose of needed Iodine, but I get potassium along with the Iodine. The price is very reasonable.Great combo of nutrients
