Each serving contains 10 mg of available Lutein, a critical pigment of the macula, lens, and other ocular tissues. Lutein is a powerful antioxidant related to beta-carotene that protects from harmful free radicals. NOW has also included green tea extract, alpha lipoic acid, grape seed extract, and other synergists in this formula to maximize its antioxidant potential.

Caution
Although I believe in the benefits of Chlorella, I suspect that for someone with allergies, caution should be used.I took the product for nearly a month before the stomach cramps started and I narrowly escaped a bladder infection.With all herbs, I believe they should be used for short periods of time and then giving the body a rest.
