high-ranking brewer's yeast
Yes, not the best tasting, but independent labs give it high marks for purity and absence of contaminants. A high quality product, and great nutritional profile.More energy
Mixed with juice and it is wonderful. Feel better and more energy.Overwhelming and unpleasantly bitter flavor; buy Swanson brand Brewer's Yeast instead, for much more palatable and pleasant flavor
I'm a big fan of NOW's products, but, this brewer's yeast features an overwhelmingly bitter and unpleasant flavor that makes it impossible to consume it by itself. Mixed into a smoothie or a shake, this probably wouldn't be an issue, but, because I take my yeast by itself, the bitter flavor is a problem. I buy and prefer Swanson's brand brewer's yeast, because the flavor is much more pleasant and palatable.
