easy to connect - works with your existing shower head (including handhelds).
INSTALLATION & OPERATION
- Unscrew and remove your existing shower head (standard thread loosens to the left or counter clockwise) a wrench may be helpful if the showerhead is tight.
- Wrap the threads on your shower arm (pipe form the wall) with 2-3 layers of the provided Teflon tape.
- Attach your new Shower Filter to your existing showerhead by screwing to the right or clockwise.
- Finally, screw the shower filter, complete with head onto the shower arm, once again to the right or clockwise. Tighten BY HAND to avoid overtightening.
Note: The Enviro Shower Filters are designed to work best with a showerhead flowing 2.5GPM. These filters may be used with lower flow showerheads, though the excess back pressure may cause a slow drip at the connections. In this situation, do not continue to tighten as it may cause the housing to crack.

For best results it is recommended to replace your filter cartridge once a year

I as really satisfied with this product.Poor construction
The first one I bought cracked so Swanson kindly sent me a new one (filter included). Now the replacement is cracked and spraying water. I Am planning to switch to an all metal housing filter.Easy system
