I'm a stickler about dentifrices. All the ingredients in this product are either wildcrafted or organic. That works for me. It tastes good and cleans well. With the cost of toothpaste this is a bargain. To apply, I use a small plastic dish and put about a quarter teaspoon in it. Wet the brush and pick up a small amount to brush with. This will last me all day and more. The 4 leaves are for how messy it is in the sink. But it does rinse away.I believe this is the best
