Make a great side dish with Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous. This quick cooking pasta is made from precooked coarsely ground semolina and is a traditional food in North Africa and the Middle East. This tiny little pasta only takes five minutes to prepare. Use couscous as a bed for stew, meats and vegetables or as an entrée with your favorite pasta sauce.

Suggested Use:
BASIC COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring 1 ¼ cups water or broth and ½ tsp salt (optional) to a boil in a medium-size pot. Add 1 cup couscous and 2 Tbsp butter or oil (optional). Stir, cover, remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff well with a fork and serve. Makes 3 servings. As a Cereal: Add 1 cup couscous to 2 cups hot milk and 2 tablespoons butter. Cover, let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with toppings such as honey, maple syrup, nuts, and fruit. Makes 3 servings. Other recipes on the package.
