Pine Tar Soap made this seasoned company famous. Going all the way back to the 1870s, a man named Jess Hoffman made the very first bar of Grandpa’s soap based on a family recipe that was praised for its restorative and cleansing benefits. Throughout the years, the company developed more variations of its soap, and underwent many changes, but their commitment to high quality, thoughtfully crafted soaps never wavered. They still have their famous pine tar soap (now available as a convenient shower gel), but now also boast unique soaps such as acne treatment formula and a Witch Hazel Soap soap with bits of loofah blended right into the bar.
