When Is a Good Time to Eat Fruit?
Vitamins and Supplements FAQs • July 13, 2011
We cannot make specific recommendations regarding diet. You will need to check with a dietitian for any special recommendations for you if you have any medical concerns.

However, as a general rule: Fruit digests the fastest of any food, so it is best eaten at least 2 hours from any meal. If eaten with complex carbs like bread or pasta, rice, etc. and/or fats, they don't have a chance to digest as they should and they may beging to rot in the process.

There are simply all kinds "opinions," they can make your head spin. A nutritionist would be the one to go to with this question, as your health may determine the answer... ie a diabetic, gluten sensitivity, etc.
