PRODUCT REVIEWED: Back to Nature Fudge Mint Cookies

Rachel: I only took one of these because they looked so tempting, I knew I'd eat more than a serving size! I was right to take only one. These are so good and did not disappoint... tasted just as I'd expected and these don't contain the yucky stuff of a certain other mint cookie that gets sold by sweet looking girls every year.

Anthony: Reading the name and looking at the image creates one obvious question: Are these going to be as good as Girl Scout Thin Mints? If not, this product is a complete failure and dead to me. After taking my first bite, it's confirmed that they are every bit as good. If you like Thin Mints, you'll love these. That's all you need to know, right?

Nicole: I really enjoyed this cookie – slight mint flavor, great crunch, and tasty dark chocolate. They are similar to a Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie, but not as sweet. Although they are a natural food, they aren’t low-calorie: two cookies still contain 75 calories. But they are a nice option for a snack with healthier ingredients.

Jenessa: These cookies are seriously fantastic. Everyone recognizes the flavor of a crunchy, minty, chocolate-y cookie, but now they’re available without high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors, flavors or preservatives! These were the best-tasting snack on our testing table, in my opinion, and I’ll be adding them to my next employee order!

Kurt: I love these cookies for their crispy texture and light mint taste. It’s hard not to compare them to the Thin Mint Cookies sold by the Girl Scouts.

Nathan: In my household we enjoy our sweets but we’re always looking for healthier options to make our indulgences a little less guilty. These fudge mint cookies remind of us other cookies that we can never resist. With no high fructose corn syrup or any artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors, these cookies allow one of our guilty pleasure snacks to be a more healthy option now.

Courtney: I don’t care much for sweets, and I especially don't like chocolate and mint flavors together, so I'm probably not the best person to ask. That said, these didn’t really do anything for me. Dry. Strong mint flavor; kept trying to taste the chocolate but couldn’t. I appreciate the absence of HFCS and other fake ingredients, though.

Kaitlin: A healthier, preservative free option for Girl Scout cookies year 'round? I mean, if you’re going to have cookies, do it responsibly! And that is exactly what Back to Nature offers with these delicious morsels. No high-fructose corn syrup, responsible and attractive packaging... I’m pretty committed to all Back to Nature products and have been for years.

Ben: I’m sure everyone else is going to compare these to the Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookies, so I will, too. These are better. They’re lighter, crunchier and bigger than the thin mints you pay $6 a box for once a year. I think I will have to try these in a dish of vanilla frozen yogurt.
