It’s no secret that dry weather messes with a person’s skin. I have combination to oily skin most of the time, but my skin gets dry during the winter. To combat this, I like to try various face masks aimed at brightening and refreshing my skin.

Buying face masks at the store can get pretty spendy, so I wanted to look into making my own. Luckily there are a lot of DIY recipes out there!

I browsed the internet to find easy-to-make, natural face masks. I found recipes with turmeric, coconut oil, chia seeds, avocado, cocoa powder and more. I even found an edible mask! Check out that and other DIY brightening face mask recipes below to get your skin ready for summer.
