No Taste Gum
I am interested in chewing gum that contains xylitol, a product that works against tooth decay. I will never purchase this gum every again. The chalky tablets are chewable, but the flavor vanishes within three minutes. Flavor is a big reason to purchase chewing gum. Pass to another brand.Tastes awful, doesn't last long, and has a cheap gum base
It tastes awful, as xylitol gum goes. To me, this is similar to the way cough syrup works. It has some flavor, but still tastes like nasty medicine. Sure, this will give your teeth some xylitol, but this is quite possibly the worst tasting xylitol product I've ever tried. On top of that, the gum base is cheap. It starts as powder, and as you first break up the tablet in your mouth, you need to carefully contain all of the little pellets, and work at crushing them together. With 30 seconds of effort, you can get the gum base to coalesce into a chewable piece of gum, just as the xylitol has nearly finished dissolving away. It will remain cohesive for long enough...3 minutes for all the remaining flavor (if you care for it) to disappear. I am familiar with this kind of gum base though, and if I could stand to chew it long enough, I fully expect it to start breaking down into little pellets again in 10-20 minutes. The only thing going for it is that it uses a more expensive form of vitamin C, sodium ascorbate. (Rather than ascorbic acid, which would be less absorbable, and bad for your teeth)Overall great gum!
I love this gum! It tastes great and is keto friendly!
