The one compound capsule is much simpler then taking one of each from the K spectrum.
I have been looking for a full spectrum of vit. K and this seem to be more to my liking. I contains K-1,K-2 and K-3 which I was having to buy individually. This has all three so it makes taking it much easer being a one capsule rather then the three I was taking.A good bend of Vtamin K's
I have read that the different forms of Vitamin K have different benefits. This product is one of the few that has 3 forms.MK-7 stays in the body longer than the MK-4 form of K2 so the combo may be more beneficial. Not sure exactly where K-1 comes in, though.MK-4 takes a higher dose for effectiveness than MK-7 does according to all I have read. This product supplies that higher dose.Full spectrum K
This Vitamin K supplement is well balanced with a combination of vitamins A, C, D3, and E, that help it work more effectively. Studies have shown these vitamins may help boost the immune system. I haven't found another product that is even in the same ballpark as this one. Excellent product...MK-7 vs MK-4; the "Jury is still out"...
...as to whether MK-7 manufacturers and supplement vendors' claims that MK-7 is 'superior' to MK-4. Just because MK-7 has a longer half-life in the human body does NOT mean it is preferred by the human body.Perhaps MK-7 longer half-life is due to the body's PREFERENCE for MK-4? Indeed, it is now known that MK-4 performs a few vital functions MK-7 is unable to do as well. One example: MK-7 isn't capable of activating PKA-dependent transcription in bone cells whereas MK-4 can and does perform this vital function.Me? I'm 'hedging my bets' by taking both forms of Vitamin K2. Likely, IMO, further research will bare out the fact that we all should of been taking more MK-4 #and less MK-7# all along. Still a LOT of research needs to be done so do not put your health at risk by 'buying the hype' put out by those who have a ve$ted interest in selling you only MK-7.Ask yourself this question: If the body has such a great need for MK-7 then why is it that its main natural sources of Vitamin K2 are, in fact, MK-4? Again, there are many, many unanswered questions begging in-depth research.
