Capsule too big
The capsule is way too big; hard to swallow. I will not buy again.Excellent Product
Jarrow's GLA is hexane (solvent) free and has the highest potency of GLA I can find. All of Jarrow's products are highly respected and I have used many of them over the years with good results.New Formula
This was a regular purchase for years, then less than a year ago it was unavailable for a couple of months. I set up a notice to be told when it was in stock and I ordered it. I was very disappointed to see that the capsules no longer had gamma tocopherol listed as an additional component. Now, it's listed as an ingredient with no specified amount of gamma tocopherol, which I credited to keeping the capsule contents fresh. I wrote Jarrows and they don't care. The new cheaper quality formula has an orange label. A disappointing fall in quality for a formerly excellent product,Hexane free
I've just finished my first bottle of Jarrow's GLA. I chose it because it's hexane (solvent) free and it comes from borage seeds instead of evening primrose. I don't really know if there's a difference in my health as a result, but I am going to continue taking it, based on the research.
