Uses
Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold. ††
Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes. ††

Warnings
Sore throat warning: severe or persisitent sore throat for more than 2 days or if accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, vomiting or rash may be serious. Consult a physician promptly.
Ask a doctor before use if you have a persistent or chronic cough that lasts, is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema or Is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus).
Stop use and ask a doctor if
- new symptoms occur, symptoms worsen or do not get better within 7 days
- fever worsens or lasts more than 3 days
- cough lasts more than 7 days or occurs with rash or persistent headache. These
could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Directions
Shake well before use.
Age - Dose
Adults & children 12 years of age and older - Take 2 teaspoons (tsp) (10 mL) ½ hour before bedtime. Dose may be repeated if necessary.
Children under 12 years of age - Ask a doctor.
Other Information
Store at room temperature 20-25°C (68-77°F) in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

BUMMED - DIDN'T WORK FOR ME
Cleaned out my cabinet to make it a chemical free cabinet and made room for this. Did not work :( I was bummed but other stuff here has so it isn't Swanson's faultIt works!!
I loved that this product worked and is all natural! How often does that happen. I think this personally tasted better than many cough syrups on the market that are full of junk. I am so impressed now I am going to the larger bottle and will try the day time one for the family. Thank you Swansons!If you can get past the taste.....
This is a good product that works for a cough, just like it says. Taste kinda yucky, it would probably taste better refridgerated, but it doesn't say to do that.
