    Stone Ground Chickpea Flour from Bob's Red Mill is a heart-healthy and gluten-free flour that's excellent for baking.     INGREDIENT: Garbanzo Beans.


    • 1 cup Bob's Red Mill® Chickpea Flour
    • ½ tsp Salt
    • ¼ tsp ground Black Pepper
    • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder, optional
    • 1 cup warm Water
    • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil, optional
    • Fresh or dried Herbs, optional

    In a bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Whisk water and olive oil into flour mixture until completely combined. Add fresh or dried herbs if desired. Set this mixture aside and preheat oven to 450℉. Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet in the oven while it preheats. Liberally grease heated skillet with olive oil (olive oil spray coats pan well). Pour batter into heated pan and bake for 15 minutes, or until set and golden brown. Remove from pan and serve immediately with the toppings of choice.

    Makes one 10-inch flatbread.

    • Sauteed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and thinly sliced red onions
    • Hummus, mushrooms and chopped red peppers
    • Pizza sauce and your favorite pizza topping (return to oven to melt the cheese)
