Hempseed Organic Superfood - Raw Shelled
MY HEMPSEED 'SANDWICH'
I love HempSeeds. Very good, nutty flavor. A nice easy, chewy snack that is satisfying but not filling.
I keep my little Rubbermaid container of HempSeeds in my main vitamin / supplement cabinet in the kitchen. Often, while I'm washing down my handfuls of supplements, I 'sandwich in' a tsp of HempSeeds to give my stomach a little good, natural food, which I find helps this whole process. It'll be supplements then a tsp of HempSeeds, then more supplements and another tsp of HempSeeds. Usually 2 tsp of these chewy HempSeeds does the trick perfectly.
I really appreciate the quality protein and EFAs in HempSeeds, making it a wonderful, low-calorie, non-fattening, satisfying, healthful, yummy snack. Sometimes, I'll just have a couple of tsps of Hempseeds as a quick, no-mess & no-fuss snack in the middle of the afternoon. It is amazing how this small amount of power-packed goodness carries me through the next few hours.
I know that Chia Seeds are an excellent, nutritious food, and I have been aware of and used Chia Seeds for about 50 years; however, as for eating the seeds right off the teaspoon, I much prefer HempSeeds in every way - - - taste, convenience, and efficacy. I have only been onto HempSeeds the past few years. I was really missing out in the past, but I'm glad I have my HempSeeds now! You've got to try them, and I highly recommend replacing the unhealthful, empty-calorie, fattening snacks in your pantry with these Organic Shelled HempSeeds.
Just to keep it interesting, I also have a good supply of organic raw nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, Brazils) and raw pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds) for when I need a nourishing, satisfying snack to hold me over for several hours. (Swanson Health Products sells these, too, and at good prices.) However, my Organic HempSeeds are what I 'sandwich in' with my nutritional supplements. Works for me.

We love this product! It is an excellent way to get protein in the morning. I soak it with chia seeds, oats, and flax seeds, for 24 hours--a very enjoyable raw breakfast!

Excellent Protein Source
As one who maintains a vegan diet, I use this Organic Raw Shelled Hempseed as a primary source of protein. I love that I can add it to most anything I eat - to derive the most nutrition from it, I don't heat it or add it to hot foods (I wait til they cool first). It meets all my criteria for healthful nutrition - Organic, great omega-3's & protein value, etc. - + Swanson looks to have the best price for it!

Excellent for You

I've tried several brands of hemp seeds and I enjoy them all. Nutivas have a nutty flavor that is my favorite, and the price is right. I eat them plain, add to smoothies, dips, soups-- you name it! Highly versatile and great source of protein.

- Sun Maid Natural California Raisins

A great 'super food!'
I'm hooked on these and put them in my oatmeal and yogert and felt an energy boost the first time I ate them. It is a great way to boost your diet for the benefits of the product at the best price I could find.
The cost is worth it to me and I plan on eating these seads daily for the long list of benefits (Google 'hemp sead nutrition').

Good good good!!!
I can't say enough about hemp seeds!! They are a staple in my diet!!! Extremely healthy food!! You can add them to ANYTHING to get a major health benefit!! They are actually so yummy to just eat a spoon-full of them if you are craving a quick snack!

Hemp's nutritional "wallop"
This simple bag of hemp can be made into a wonderful milk by using one cup of hemp to two cups of purified water. A touch of vanilla after a high-speed blend makes a nutritional drink! However, I just simply add a couple of tablespoons of this highly charged, superfood seed to my daily smoothies. Frankly, I like to have hemp in the house as a staple in the cupboard. This is a very good product. It's nutty flavor can also be used in salads.

My New Meat
The more I ate hemp nuts the less I desired meat to the point where I became a vegetarian. Maybe that's a bit extreme, but hemp nuts are the most perfect protein source I have ever found. They are packed with protein and also the good kind of fats, the ones we need. When coupled with Chia seeds I was able to stop my fish oil supplement.
Also, unlike the other vegetable protein sources they are completely unprocessed! They simply have their shells removed. I try to avoid those mysterious processes as much as possible.
The price is right when compared to the cost of meat, they keep well in the fridge and have a pleasant nutty taste. I heard you shouldn't heat them, but don't know if that is true. I usually eat them in my smoothies or straight from the bag for a snack.
Whether you are going to quit meat or just want the best protein supplement around then I say HEMP NUTS.

Never felt so good
I have been taking the seeds everyday for a month and I have never felt so good. I eat it right out of the bag with a big glass of water when I come home from my teaching job and it gives me energy to go on for a few extra hours taking care of the horses. I feel so energetic that I have a hard time stopping! My friends are quickly getting hooked to this yummy snack.

Great to have on hand
I add these hemp seeds to all my smoothies and shakes, along with chia seeds, and they help turn an ordinary drink in to a delicious, nutritious meal. I eat them every day!! They taste great and are loaded with protein.

High Fiber Food Source
I bought the hemp seed to put over cereal and other foods to boost the level of fiber in my diet. I haven't tasted it yet, so can't speak to its flavor, etc. But, I am happy with the purchase.

An easy way to add hemp seed to your diet. I use it to top quinoa and eat it as a cereal along with cut fruit. Very tasty!
