INGREDIENTS: Potato Starch, Tapioca Flour, Baking Soda, Psyllium Husk.

HOW TO USE

To replace one whole egg, combine 1 Tbsp Egg Replacer with 2 Tbsp water. Mix well and let sit for 1 minute to thicken.

For one egg white, combine 1½ tsp Egg Replacer with 2 Tbsp water; for one egg yolk, combine 1½ Egg Replacer with 1 Tbsp water.

Please note: this Egg Replacer cannot substitute for whipped egg whites, such as in a meringue or angel food cake.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep sealed for freshness.

Ok for certain dishes.

Bob’s Red Mill Egg replacer is a good replacement for eggs if baking certain dishes. Works pretty well for cookies, meatloaf etc. I have never had much luck using it for cakes or brownies as they don’t rise correctly. I have added some leveling (baking powder or soda) but wasn’t very successful. I use it in certain dishes/baked goods since grandson has an egg allergy.

Works like a real egg for baking

Made blueberry muffins and used egg replacer for the egg in the recipe. Muffins turned out light and fluffy just as if I had used a chicken egg. Also had success with a chocolate chip cookie recipe calling for one egg, although I added more water to the egg replacer.To mix, I sift the egg replacer into the water and whisk; otherwise, it will clump.
