I bought this to use for my dog's pill. Pill pockets were not working. Hiding it in his food did not work, he'd find it almost every time and wouldn't eat it. Finally the pill crusher! It worked. I have this pill crusher for my mother who takes eight pills, two are large. This pill crusher is very difficult to use because it takes several attempts to crush all of the pills. The bottom of this device is hard plastic and I have to hold onto it with a kitchen towel so it doesn't injure my hand. The little blue rubber 'tabs' on the top get water in them when this device is washed. Not good.If I could afford it I would buy an electric pill crusher but thanks to my revenge-seeking sister, I can't.
