I do not doubt the quality. Albion is one of the most well-known producers of chelated minerals in the world. It's good that Swanson uses ingredients from Albion, and is offering it at a reasonable price.
The disadvantage is that Swanson't hasn't created one pill that contains all the 4 main nutrients for bone health: magnesium, calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K2. A competitor had created one, which I'm using. The disadvantage of this competitor's product (each tablet contains 300mg of calcium, 150mg of magnesium, 250 IU of vitamin D and 25 mcg of K2) is its size: the tablet is too big.
I think it'd be a good idea for Swanson to produce a 4-in-1 like the above-describe in a smaller capsule size. The capsule size of this magnesium product is OK. It should contain around half the amounts in each capsule: 150mg of Albion chelated calcium, 75mg of Albion chelated magnesium, 125 IU of vitamin D3 and 12.5 to 25 mcg of K2 (natural or synthetic). Around 4 capsules of such a 4-in-1 per day would be a good idea for many who wish to obtain important bone nutrition.
What most people can't obtain through typical bone supplements is vitamin K2, which is an important bone nutrition. Such a 4-in-1 would fill in the gap.

From the text Adaptogens in Medical Herbalism by Donald R. Yance I found some extraordinarily good advice with regard to, among other things, calcium and magnesium supplements.
My internet search eventually brought me to Swanson, whose products I have never before used, and in so doing seemed to have struck pay dirt.
ALBION CHELATED CALCIUM! Nothing out there to compare and at a very good price. This is the calcium to use.
I am happy as a lark to have found it and at Swanson.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FitDoc1 TOO LITTLE & TOO BIG
This Albion Chelated Calcium Glycinate is a very good quality product - - - digestible and absorbable for most people. Better than most of the cheap 'rocks' being sold at stores everywhere as calcium supplements that are likely to go right through a person whole.
However, my problems with this product are that the POTENCY IS TOO LOW, while the CAPSULE is TOO BIG (for the amount of Calcium it contains), and the PRICE IS TOO HIGH (180 caps at $6.49). Rather than take 6 of these big 00 capsules to cover my chosen 1,000 mg. daily supplementation of Calcium, and still get no Magnesium in the product, I prefer to take Swanson's Ultra Coral Calcium Capsules, which comparatively speaking are similarly priced, BUT they give me the 1,000 mg. of Calcium I want, along with 500 mg. of Magnesium - - - all from natural, highly digestible, absorbable, effectively utilized Coral, and in 4 capsules.
This Coral Calcium formula (both the nutritional formula, and the mathematical formula) is what I prefer. When I took 6 of the Albion Chelated Calcium capsules, I had to take a couple of Magnesium capsules along with them. I got good results; however, in this case I prefer to keep it simple with just the one product, Coral Calcium, providing me with both my Calcium and Magnesium.
BTW - - - Swanson Ultra Albion Calcium Glycinate is also available with Magnesium. Excellent quality. However, it takes TEN of those capsules to provide 1,000 mg. of Calcium and 500 mg. of Magnesium. TEN. Ten Big 00 capsules. TEN. - - - Whatever floats your boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Curlyhead More absorbable than other forms
I like mineral supplements in chelated form because they are supposed to be more absorbable than other forms or minerals. Only which the dosage per pill was a little higher, so I did not have to take six of these per day.

I need to take calcium. I want it to get to my bones and it must be absorbed into the system to get to the bones. Research tells me this is highly absorbed, it is a capsule not a huge rock. I recomend this as a calcium most likely to get to the bones where needed and at a Swanson Price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by justeatrealfood Good calcium supplement
Of all the calcium supplements available I would only use a chelated type such as this so that it can be properly absorbed by the body. Most calcium supplements are not only wasted because of poor absorption but also can cause calcification of body organs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by July great!!
From my own experience I can say that this Albion chelated calcium absorbs really well so I don't need to take as much. Caspules are easier to break down than tablets so I was really happy when i found this supplement, because most calcium supplements come in tablets.
I use this supplement together with magnesium and other minerals. The only thing I would change is the capsule, I would prefer vegetarian capsules but other than that it's a great supplement, and I'm grateful that Swanson offers it for such a good price.

It's easy to take and the pill size is just right for me. I take it every morning with my breakfast for maximum absorption.
I would recommend this product for anyone who feels they need additional calcium over their dietary intake level.
