INGREDIENT: Whole Grain Sorghum.

BASIC COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Stovetop: Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a pot with 1 tsp salt. Add 1 cup rinsed sorghum, return to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-high and boil uncovered until soft, about 50-60 minutes. Drain off cooking water, then serve.

Slow Cooker: Place 1 cup rinsed sorghum, 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Cooking on low is not recommended. Drain excess water and serve.

Multi-Cooker: Place 1 cup rinsed sorghum, 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt in the pot of multi-cooker. Set the valve to sealing. On manual setting and high pressure, set for 30 minutes. Quick release the pressure. Drain excess water and serve.

Great flour
Great flour  I use this flour everyday,I use about 200 grams+50-70 grams of whole wheat flour. To make what we called it in Arabic of Yemen “Asseed” this word means something you twisted etc.It is a main dish there which they usually eat at noon. For thousands of years, they grow sorghum too it’s the main crops there. It is easy simple and useful dish that has all nutrition you need. It can be made from sorghum flour or mixed with wheat flour. For example if you will make 200 grams of flour you will need 360 grams of water. It is 1:1.80  Water must be boiled first, then take about 70% of it and stir it with flour, then add rest of water.and stir it until it becomes like one piece of dough and you smell it as good hot bread. 1.It can be eaten with beef, sheep, goats,or chicken broth mixed with grinded tomatoes hot peppers,or to use butter ghee. 2.With butter milk with or without grinded tomatoes hot peppers etc. 3.With milk, honey, and butter ghee I use Presto deep fryer to make asseed,it is the easiet pan to do it,I put one side of pan to the wall, the other I put my boot to hold it firmly,so that you can use both hands, and stir it.Any saucepan can be used,so that you can hold it with left hand and stir it with right hand. I have pictures, but I could not post them.

Great as a gluten free sourdough starter.
I use this product to help boost my brown rice flour sourdough starter. I mill into flour and it works great for this purpose. With it as a booster, the starter becomes active within 1 - 2 hours as opposed to 4 hours if I use brown rice flour alone. If you're having problems with your gluten free sourdough starter, try it.
