Unnecessary ingredients
Although Swanson says they get their chlorella from Taiwan, which is an excellent source of quality chlorella, they do mix in unnecessary ingredients Calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose (plant fiber), stearic acid, magnesium stearate. Why? Other high quality chlorella manufacturers use only pure chlorella, no additives. Swanson can do better. I bought this product and consider it marginal. I am only going to use high grade pure chlorella products from now on. You get what you pay for. I am willing to pay more if Swanson makes a better quality chlorella product.

. Why is there any other ingredient in this product but Chlorella. Every other Chlorella product Swanson sells Mercolas, Now etc. has no other ingredient. No wonder this is so extremely cheap. You get 60 days worth and everybody else gives you 30 days worth at 3g a day. I'll pay a bit more and get the quality stuff I know has a better bioavailability.

Great Stuff!
Corella is healthy, for a multitude of reasons. This one is especially good because of the "broken cell wall" which means the nutrients are better available for the body to utilize them.

Chlorella
Good stuff, I take four tabs, morning and evening, with a teaspoon of Virgin Coconut oil. They taste good together. Dr Mercola says four grams is the daily minimum to achieve detoxifying effects.

Little Green
I have read that broken cell wall Chlorella is a perfect food, easily digestable source of protein. What I do know from personal experiences is that it has improved my bad breath.

spirulina+chlorella=super greens!!
I like to take this along with my organic spirulina tablets because it does a better job of detoxifying my body of unwanted materials. Taking both will double the health benefits and make me happier!!^^

Possible long term benefits
This product is from the green foods line. I take this for the possible benefits it could have for cleaning up my system. Our bodies collect lots of things over there years and this product could possible contribute to cleaning them out your system. I think think theory behind this product is sound. They also sell this from an other manufacturer also. I chose this version based on price, quantity and knowing that Swanson makes a product at least an equal with a brand named maker. For those looking for a green alternative for making cleansing the system of impurities this may do the trick. I am going to continue this for a long time as I believe in green foods.

Green Is GOOD
I purchased a bottle of BCW Chlorella when my favorite my favorite Swanson's Essential Greens Powder was out of stock. I added the powder to my smoothies and did the same with Chlorella.
I have to say that I felt more energized and enjoy the flavor the powder greens adds to my fruit/tofu/soy milk smoothies. With a pinch of Stevia of course.
As a substitute, this tab form is ok, but too many fillers listed on the label. Back to powder for me.

Great Chlorella
Due to the fact the Kyoto Brand is temporally out of stock, I tried this Chlorella. And I was not disappointed one bit. I gave it a 4 in Effectiveness because I don't think it is quite as good as the Kyoto, but still the 2nd best Chlorella I have EVER tried. And that's saying something!!! Plus it's nice not having to take as many pills (these are 500mg). It's just a great product & you can't go wrong with it. I have already ordered some more.
