Can't tell if supplement is working
Seldom can feel a difference, however having the precursors to hormones available for a body to use seems reasonable, especially after menopause.

a needed nutrient
I have read in Dr. Eric Braverman's book Younger Brain Sharper Mind that this nutrient and DHEA are needed to help us stay sharp as we age. I have been taking one capsule at breakfast and one at lunch for about a month and don't see any marked difference as yet. The lable suggests one a day but that wasn't doing much so I added the extra dose. It may be working subtely and I just don't don't detect it so I'll stick with it for another month. Doesn't hurt and hopefully will help. I also take the DHEA as the doctor suggested.

A great product
I have been using pregnenalone for quite awhile. I take this and 7-keto DHEA and use progesterone cream, and I do believe I am feeling so much better.

Huge Difference!
Everyone is different, so I don't expect you to experience the same effect that I have with this product. Well, I literally stumbled on this product after reading about it on the internet (known as the "happiness hormone") and it has made a dramatic difference right away. In my line of work, Chemistry, I do tons of calculations each day. I don't feel as mentally fatigued throughout the day and I can run numbers through equations more fluidly and with fewer errors. This is a GREAT product! Potent and effective.

Does NOT WORK
In April, my pregnenalone lab value was 3 (optimal range 180-200). I started taking one of these each day from the end of April until the end of December. My labs at the beginning of April were still at 3 (optimal range 180-200). If taking 50mg of this each day for 8 months does not make a difference, I believe there may be a problem with the pills. I am going to try a different brand/manufacturer and see how that works.

Didn't expect this result!
Went to this super strength dose, and lo and behold my short term memory began to improve. Was also able to assimilate information more quick than before.
You have to stay on a consistent regimen of taking it , though, but at these prices that's easy.
Wish they offered a larger quantity size!

Good Pregnenolone
This product is good, but honestly, I couldn't tell that it did anything for me. (My adrenals are fatigued, and in taking pregnenolone, I was hoping to give them a nudge without fatiguing them further.) It certainly hasn't hurt me, however.

hot flash free
my new health practitioner was impressed that I even knew about this product and highly recommends it for everyone. After several weeks I can honestly say that recently I have not even experienced a warm wave. I'm also starting to have better nights of much needed sleep! It's the top of the line of hormones so both men and women can benefit. Great product

There is a difference
I started to use the more potent form of pregnenolone after reading reviews. I do notice that my verbal conversations are more fluid. I am not having as many senior moments. It does make a difference.

Good Results and Good Value
My doctor recommended I take 7-Keto DHEA (100 mg) and Pregnenolone 30 mg) due to low blood work. I am post-menopausal. I don't know which worked but my mind is much sharper. I feel like I used to with clarity and cognitive processes.
My doctor had me taking a much more expensive brand, but I changed to Swanson. I have not noticed a decrease in the benefits. Thank you Swanson for your pricing and shipping costs!

Best elder boost ever
This is a great product for balancing hormones and I find I have a lot more energy since taking it. I am also taking carnitine to build muscle and so I am feeling a lot more confident in my ability to keep up with my granddaughter :-)

Product not effective
After taking the Swanson's version of Pregnenolone, my blood levels of pregnenolone have actually dropped to a very low level. I take 100 mg a day. When I was on another brand, my blood levels were normal.

Dry nights
I love this product. Pregnenolone is the precursor to estrogen and progesterone. At fifty, I'm just starting to go through the passage of life. A few days after starting to take this, I noticed that I no longer perspired at night. Yay!

One of my better purchases
I would reccomend this product because of my own experience and help it has given me to remember things more easily and the help this product has given me at night to sleep more soundly and wake up more refreshed every morning.
