An item I always purchase
I have recommended L-Theanine for years. It was recommended to me by an MD. It helps to calm and relieve stress by taking "the edge" off thinking that is spinning too fast. Just a month ago I saw that Dr. Amen was in favor of it (he suggests 400 mg) a day. The Swanson brand is the best value for the cost.

Didn't quite cut it
I didn't get the noticeable relaxation response that the others here evidently got. This brand is good, no bad reaction and can't compare it to others. It's probably an individual reaction and perhaps other brands would work better for me, though I'm not going to try them out just now.

Wonderful and calming
I wouldn't be without Suntheanine. It promotes relaxation without drowsiness. It is the ONLY form of L-theanine that has a patent (Taiyo). All other forms of L-theanine are not nearly as good as this.
In addition to promoting calm relaxation, it also mitigates the effect of caffeine 'jitters.'
If you're not familiar with SunTheanine, by all means treat yourself to a bottle. It's magic.

Not Uptight Anymore
Had never heard of this amino acid before having someone suggest it to me. Being in a lot of stress and tempers beginning to flare, I ordered this L-Theanine product and after about three weeks, I felt more relaxed and things didn't seem to bother me as much. I was taking one capsule a day for a while and decided to take one twice a day and am now feeling so much better! Wonderful!

Truly effective
I bought Suntheanine to see if the claims for it were valid. I can say they truly were. To help calm and relax you,to take the edge off stress and to give a satisfying nights sleep, this is the product. It especially helped my wife, who is very "highly strung". She is definitely easier to get along with and smiles more than she has done for years!

I think it's great
When I first started taking this product I could feel an overall change in my mood. I had a better sense of well being. I supposed if I stopped taking it I would be able to confirm its effectiveness.

Wont Go A Day Without It
I absolutely love this product! I start my day out with it and sometimes end my day with it. I have noticed a distinct overall calmness since I have been taking it. I have recommended L-Theanine to most of my friends and family. I don't go a day without it and for the great price, I wont have to.

Get Leveler

Helps me sleep
This is a great product, not real expensive and works for good sleep. The only thing is, it won't last all night. I have to take one around 1 AM to sleep the entire night on top of the first one I take before bed. But for the price and effectiveness, I would recommend it.

Did not work for me
I gave this product five leaves because I do believe that it is a good product, unfortunately I did not like this product. I did not feel well after I took this. I wish it would work for me, it is supposed to have great benefits.

delivers as promised
This product does help one achieve an overall sense of calm -- it's subtle but definitely there, without drowsiness. Have been taking it twice a day for a month.

The product didn't work as well for me as it did for a woman on a certain doctor's tv show. She claimed she went from sleeping one hour a night to sleeping eight hours a night from using it. For me, I fall asleep about two hours faster and wake up about half as often than before. So I gain about three more hours overall of sleep. But I wake up slightly foggy-headed. I will purchase L-Theanine again.

Wow!
Decided to try this after reading the reviews. I was loooking for something to take my stress level down a notch at work. This absolutely does the trick and more. Marked mood improvement. When I do get ticked, it seems to pass quickly. I definitely feel happier while taking this supplement. If you get grumpy and sometimes just feel generally unhappy, pop one of these when you get up in the morning and life is good.

Anti-stress

Best Product
Being a faithful Swanson's customer for many years this product is the best purchase ever. When I discovered it and began using it regularly I am convinced it keeps me on an even positive outlook and spirits and less stressed feeling.
