jury still out
They say it takes at least two months to see the true results of this product so I can't say for sure if I will continue using. But easy to take; no after taste. My skin looks better for one thing but have been using different moisurizer also.

pycnogenol
if you watch dr. oz, like i do, you found out what this herb is supposed to do. i started taking it because i trust swanson products and have always gotten quick delivery. this took 2 months to reach the desired effect, but it works when i thought it wasnt possible for any product to do what i bought it for.

Based on a Swanson study
Ordered this based on a Swanson study that it has been clinically proven to reduce hot flashes. I use this in conjunction with Promensil. I can't say how well it works on it's own but together with the Promensil, it has significantly reduced the frequency and severity of my "power surges"! I also read that Pycnogenol also helps with skin texture. I've only taken this product for a month and so far notice no difference in my skin, but I have good skin to begin with. Hopefully it's helping to keep it that way!

I have not noticed any improvement in my hot flashes, but I have only been taking it for 1 month. I will give it another month and then update my review.

There are better Pine bark supplements
This is another Swanson product that I do not notice any affect at all. Some Swanson products are GREAT and others, not so good. Again, I love the prices but not all supplements by Swanson have the effectiveness as others. And this is one of them. I tried another name brand Pycnogenol product before i switched to swansons and the other brand product I noticed a definite affect, but absolutely NO affect with Swansons. Now, that has been a 100mg comparison with the other name brand product. I may try 2 capsules (200mg) of the Swanson product and see if I can get any affect. The other name brand product was 2.5 times more expensive.

Good product
I am 57 years young, and am using both the Pycnogenol pills along with the facial cream. It has been a month, and I see a wonderfull improvement in my skin. I don't look as tired as I did, and will definitely continue with these two products!

BAD BUY
NO APPARENT RESULTS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. MAYBE THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN FOR A LONG, LONG PERIOD OF TIME TO GET RESULTS. I WANT BE REORDERING.

Great Product
I have found this product to be of great benefit. After taking it for about a month the hot flashes had stopped. I continued taking it at least a few times a week from then on. Then I stopped taking it. After about 2 months those aggravating hot flashes returned with a vegence! So I am going back on it! I just wish Swanson would offer it a larger quanity bottle!

Works!
Tried black cohosh, krill oil, evening primrose oil, etc. but still had awful night sweats. This worked great after a couple of weeks. Worth a shot!

30 caps with no affect
I tried a bottle of Pycnogenol along with L-Arginine, and only felt a slight flushing in my face the first time I took it. The other 29 days had no affect. I take a lot of supplements (vitamins, fish oil, flaxseed oil, etc.) so perhaps I wouldn't have noticed any increase in energy, or any other impact on my body. I had been taking L-Arginine for a few months and thought the combination of that and Pycnogenol might have produced some effects. I won't purchase Pycnogenol again and will most likely stop taking L-Arginine.
