Magnesium Chloride Flakes
I made the oil, but it dries out my hands, so I haven't decided whether I like it or not. I think it will be nice to be able to have in a bath and to include bath salts with it.

Very good product
I make my own Magnesium Chloride oil out of this. It is highly effective and great and I have had many benefits from using it! I am due to order more here soon! I now recommend this to pretty much everyone. I made some and gave it to my sister because she needed to try it on my nephew and she was very surprised and pleased with the results.

This is the only kind of Magnesium soak I can use because it does not contain sulfate like regular epsom salt does.

Used this product to make Magnesium Oil and recommend it highly

Using this product promotes better sleep. Recommended it to friends who are also grateful for such a fine product. My husband uses it mixed with water (about 1/3 cup of water to 1/4 cup flakes) as a deodorant spray.

Better than Epsom Salts
This leaves my skin soft as opposed to dry when I use Epsom which my doctor recommended. The flakes, however, seem less effective than the magnesium oil, which I also put in my bath. Therefore, I mostly use the oil and give the flakes as gifts. When someone gets hooked on it, then I suggest they try the oil. There is nothing better than a hot magnesium bath before bed for a wonderful night's sleep.

Best price for best product of its kind
Magnesium absorption through the skin is the best way to supplement ones body with this the most essential mineral from ancient deposits in Netherlands. Mostly we use it in foot bath: warm water on
cool days and cold water on hot days. The bath helps to relax and sleep better.

For Magnesium Oil
I use the recipe from the Cheeseslave blog to make my own magnesium oil. It's ridiculously easy (think water and flakes!) and costs much less than buying the oil straight. I have tried the popular brand of flakes, Ancient Minerals, and have found Swanson's to be comparable in quality but much cheaper in price. Very satisfied!

love the savings
I love that I can make my own magnesium oil...one cup flakes to one cup water, melted in an emamel pan and I'm good to go...SO much less expensive than purchasing magnesium oil! Then I put it in a spray bottle.

Great for making magnesium oil
Great price, great salt. It dissolves well in warm water and is gentle on the skin with minimal irritation.

Great for mag.oil
I've been using mag oil for about 10 years, and using the flakes to make mag oil is the best option.
I don't measure when making the oil, I simply have a one qt. brown glass jar w/tight fitting lid.
I fill the jar to almost full, (>3/4, leave room for the foaming action), then I begin to slowly fill the jar w/filtered water,no need for it to be hot, cold filtered water is best. It simply takes longer to dissolve.
When using topically,I take 2 T.solution, add it to a one pt. glass jar, then fill with filtered water. This then becomes my mag.oil.
(1T.solution/16 oz. water is good,I double up on it.)

I love this stuff
I love this stuff, after using it in my bath I feel like a new person, energized and ready to take on the world!

I use this to make my own "magnesium oil" by dissolving it with equal parts of hot water, then pouring into a spray bottle. This is WAY cheaper than buying it in liquid form, plus it takes up less storage space. I like using topical magnesium, because I don't have to worry about having a bad reaction to additives in oral products.

I didn't know that such a product existed! I make my own body lotions and this melted easily into water. I then blended the magnesium water into some melted coconut oil with beeswax and it makes the most luxurious lotion! Would be great for a bath too. Great product at a terrific price.

This product was recommended by wellnessmama and I decided to try it.
2.2lbs is a lot of flakes. I've been able to share some with friends and family.
It helps with falling asleep quicker and deeper.
I plan on buying again when I run out.

swanson Magnesium Flakes
These mag chloride flakes are good. I used them as a foot soak and a bath. They were as well, if not better than the big name brand bath flakes. I also made my own magnesium oil with 1 cup of flakes to 2 cups boiling water. I then cooled it down and poured it into a bottle, capped it and used it as if it were the expensive mag oil. Nice! Swanson, I love you!

Love the foot soaks
My hubby and I do foot soaks using the mag flakes every weekend. We pick a night when we can sleep in as we are so relaxed and enjoy the rest and rejuvenation! Highly recommend.

Great stuff for foot soaks (20 - 45 min - best done in stainless or glass dish or pan). I dissolve it in distilled water to saturation and use in a spray bottle on bottoms of feet, and also on underarms for deodorant (but not if you have sensitive underarms).

I bought this so I could make my own magnesium oil. Its so easy to do and a much better value. I also enjoy having the flakes around to throw into a foot soak when needed. Magnesium is so important!

I use these flakes to make a supersaturated solution with distilled water (Mg oil). I use it out of spray bottles. I have given a lot to friends. They are all very impressed with the effects they have experienced.
