I found this product to be an excellent choice for inulin. Follow the directions and increase dosage a little at a time and you will not have to worry about "fouling" the air. I highly recommend it.

The best I've found
This is the best Inulin I've found (better than Jarrow's). It is very low-glycemic, the short wide bottle makes it very easy to scoop out the powder, and last but not least, it is NOT sealed with aluminum foil (as in "sealed for your protection with toxic aluminum foil").

I like putting this in my green smoothies Made with the nutribullet.

Not for me
Although this product is likely excellent, because of my sugar sensitivity, I found that I could only use 1/3 of the recommended dose and with caution.

Tossed it out
After researching inulin online I determined that this isn't something that I would use or recommend. I feel there are much better options to be had than inulin. I'll go for fruits and vegetables instead for my fiber.

Feed Your Gut Bacteria
Highly recommended to support the bacteria in your gut.

We take inulin as a fiber supplement. We put in in our coffee and it has no taste.
Works as expected for inulin and at a better price than anywhere else we've looked.

Could mix better!!
I purchased this product hoping that I could add it to any liquid, cold or hot. Each time I tried to add it to some cool water or juice it gets clumpy. Its a good value, and almost tasteless so it would probably be good for coffee or any hot liquid.

Best prebiotic product I've ever taken. Excellent source of fiber. Mixes well in anything, cold or hot, even just plain water. I personally use a serving in my morning coffee and in my post-workout shakes. Has barely any taste at all.

This fiber is awesome!
This fiber is the best that I have found. It dissolves easily, no funny taste - actually has a bit of sweetness, I think. I take it 2x a day (in coffee, in smoothies, in cold drinks, etc - even in baked goods) and it really helps keep me regular. I only wish it was a bit more economical and that it was available in bulk - larger container.

Two birds w/one stone
This is part of my fiber & probiotic regimen each morning. I add it to kefir rather than fruit as I had in the past. Fruit seemed to make the kefir more sour and harder to consume; for me anyway. A scoop of inulin feeds the kefir & adds to my fiber requirements.

Works best for me if it is added to a full glass of water with psyllium powder. It is not as effective when added to a shake or smoothie but it still works.

*BEST* Inulin powder I have EVER used!
No joke...and I have used several brands to know what I'm talking about.
First, this product has a nice, very mild, fruity taste. Second, this product dissolves better and faster in warm liquid than any other inulin powder I have purchased. Lastly, Swanson put a *GREAT* price tag on this product for the quality!
I really have a hard time seeing anyone having a problem with this product.

Good Product at Good Value
This is a good product at a very good price. I take it daily in my morning tea, and it works like a charm.
HOWEVER, for those of us who use this daily (which looks like everyone from the other comments here), I'd like to see it offered in larger sizes too. Runs out very quickly in these smaller canisters, and I'm always having to re-order way too frequently.

Inulin is delicious source of gentle fiber as well as being helpful in the digestive tract. I am delighted to find such a quality product.

I am on a low carb diet, which is high in meat and fat. It has been wonderful, with the exception of occasional irregularity. This inulin has been more effective than the same amount of fiber from food to increase the volume and consistency of my stool. It also boosts the effectiveness of my probiotic.

GREAT SOLUBLE FIBER SOURCE
I try to eat a healthy diet, with soluble and insoluble fiber, and THOUGHT I was doing well, until I really kept track for a while and realized I only ate around 60% of the RDA for fiber. This is a simple way to EASILY increase my fiber THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I add it to tea or coffee, especially when I can't eat a balanced meal. I also add it to smoothies, or soups. It requires a bit more stirring in cold liquids (and seems to clump in OJ). It is almost tasteless, just a hint of sweetness. I feel less hungry, and seem to react less to my occasional high carb indulgences. I hope Swanson's will feature this product, or put it on sale, so more people can learn about it.

Great as diet aid
I like to use this product with protein poweder as a meal replacement.

This has helped my digestive tract in amazing ways! I take one scoop 2 times a day. It helps increase levels of bifido bacteria(good bacteria) in the colon. It is also a good source of fiber.

I tried this after getting several bad-tasting batches of a competitor's brand of inulin powder. It is not quite as good-tasting as one other brand, but better than the one I was repeatedly disappointed by. Inulin works for us as a great prebiotic as it is supposed to--more consistently than most probiotics, and much less expensive. The two of us go through more than a jar every week, because the results are worth it.

This is a good product at a great price. I take it daily in my morning coffee and I can really tell it's doing what I expected.

Tasty healthy stuff
We really liked Swanson's Inulin. It's very easy to use, has nice fruity taste and the price is great! We've noticed improvement with regularity.
we'll be back for more.

I bought the unulin to add extra fiber to my diet as well as my children. While it disolves fantastic in hot beverages it hasn't disolved well in cold milk. I've read information sheets on inulin from other sources than Swanson's and it is supposed to actually improve the assimilation of calcium as opposed to other fiber sources that actually soak up calcium and other minerals. So naturally adding it to milk is desirable. I'll do some more experimenting and make it work. It seems to be a little expensive and I hope the price comes down in the future as more people become educated to the health benefits of this incredible supplement. It seems to help control hunger a little bit also. Thanks for supplying this product.
