Desire to have full effect
I bought this product because I wanted to have full effect of magnesium for better health.
using a liquid spray is a different form of taking supplements. other than it being runny after spraying it works fine.

Don't waste your money
You always know you have found a great product when you get results. I have found many great products on SwansonVitamins, but sadly, this is NOT one of them. This product has so many issues, I don't want to write a book, but I will mention a few. First, as other people have stated, this product severely aggravates skin in many people after having showered/bathed. I didn't ever feel a burn like most people, but I was covered in what looked like a severe case of hives or eczema for three days. Please keep in mind, I've never had eczema or any skin issues in my life. I have used other topical minerals at full strength without issue. Second, I noticed that this doesn't seem to absorb well at all. I have tried using this on every part of my body and it never absorbs. It will sit on the surface for over an hour and eventually dry on the surface of your skin. Perhaps it has to do with the size of the molecular structure. I have not had this experience with ancient minerals which is advertised as a million times smaller for high absorption. Don't waste your time or money. We have performed lots of consumer testing with this product on many individuals. No one we have given this product to has liked it.

Mag Oil Stings Revisited
Yes, I just received my jug of magesium oil and rubbed the oil sparingly into my knees after a shower and it also stung my skin.
I remember the previous reviewer mentioning this in their review.
It does go away slowly. I read the printed material on the jug and it states if it irritates the skin discontinue use.
I am going to dry it again this time without having bathed. Maybe the shower opens the pores? Here I go.........NO
STING!
So my advice is do not use after bathing or being in warm water to avoid opening the pores and feeling the sting.

Might just be me.
I love Swanson and the great products and prices, however, the Magnesium Oil burns my skin. At first I thought it was just because I had shaved my legs, but it even stings my arms, face, etc. The feeling goes away eventually, but it is not fun. Would not buy again and don't know what to do with this bottle.

I tried this after having used the pricier Ancient Minerals Magnesium for a couple of months, and the only significant difference is in the price. Quality is on the same level, and Swanson Ultra Magnesium Oil is so much less expensive, it's a no-brainer. This is the best value on the market for Mag. Oil... thanks Swanson!!!
