I was hopeful after reading all the reviews. there is not statement anywhere that it might burn you! the salt is gives horrible burning feeling. I forced myself to use this. not sure if there is any health benefits using this.

Be prepared for itching!
I've used a wonderful magnesium gel for several years, but I needed a spray for areas that I can't reach like my back. I had to jump in the shower to get it off me, since it made me itch and burn so badly. Whatever you do, do NOT put it on your face! I diluted it with water as someone suggested, but it still made me itch and burn. No more for me!

Burns like crazy!!
I couldn't wash this off my body fast enough, it burned so bad. I threw one in the garbage. Then I read somewhere to dilute it with water, so I did that. Still burns. Other Magnesium gels I've purchased are a dream! I'm going back to them. This was money wasted. I'm so disappointed. I thought the spray would be more convenient.

Warning!!! Read reviews before buying this product
You always know you have found a great product when you get results. I have found many great products on SwansonVitamins, but sadly, this is NOT one of them. This product has so many issues, I don't want to write a book, but I will mention a few. First, as other people have stated, this product severely aggravates skin in many people after having showered/bathed. I didn't ever feel a burn like most people, but I was covered in what looked like a severe case of hives or eczema for three days. Please keep in mind, I've never had eczema or any skin issues in my life. I have used other topical minerals at full strength without issue. Second, I noticed that this doesn't seem to absorb well at all. I have tried using this on every part of my body and it never absorbs. It will sit on the surface for over an hour and eventually dry on the surface of your skin. Perhaps it has to do with the size of the molecular structure. I have not had this experience with ancient minerals which is advertised as a million times smaller for high absorption. Don't waste your time or money. We have performed lots of consumer testing with this product on many individuals. No one we have given this product to has liked it

I rub it on my legs every morning as I am getting dressed. Very effective if used regularly.

if it stings a little, it helps to dilute the mag oil in a little bit of water. let it absorb and then wash away

Wow!!!
My body loves this product... I put it on my feet, stomach and in my armpits for deodorant... I am reading a book about magnesium oil and it is some pretty amazing stuff!!!

Fantastic
This seems to be a much more helpful form of magnesium for me, I've tried other forms. I rub it on my feet before bed, and usually apply a few sprays to each arm in the morning, but I do not like applying it right after a shower. My skin is not crazy about it, it does sting a little. Still, it is well worth it. I love this stuff!!! I've bought some to send to friends and family. Another great Swanson product at a great price.

Swanson does it again!
I've known magnesium is an important part of maintaining optimum health and I realized it was missing on my supplement shelf.
So I thought I'd try this newfangled oil stuff.
To my great pleasure it has proven to be highly effective.
And, further research has shown Swanson to have (as usual) the best price around.

Itchy Stuff !
I tried magnesium oil after a dry sauna and shower. The spray caused a rash and immediate itching. The same happened to my daughter to and her daughter (my granddaughter). I gave the oil to my sister-in-law who loves it--so it might be prudent to share a bottle with a couple of friends and split the cost before trying it yourself. I happen to purchase every quarter, so I bought 3 bottle....Lucky for my sister-in-law!

I purchased this as a natural deodorant. It seems to be working so far. It is NOT and antiperspirant. I am pleased with this product.

A great product from Dr. Hendel!
This is great to use after a shower or a foot soak, especially on the feet in a massage treatment, or upon the exterior part of the hands in circular motion. I have found magnesium oil to impart the feeling of a European health spa or mineral hot springs. Just two applications have been wonderfully effective in smoothing and toning both hands and feet in a remarkably therapeutic manner. Highly recommended!

sticky and drying
I was disappointed in this oil. It left my skin dry
and itchy. It also made my skin burn a little.

Very Interesting Product
While this is simply magnesium chloride, it has some curious qualities on your skin. It does not soak in in minutes as some descriptions say, but does seem to mostly soak in in about 12 to 20 hours. In the meantime, it has a hygroscopic quality, by which I mean it seems to stay moist until it absorbs. Not wet, but kind of damp (but not a problem with clothing). It seems to provide some moisture to your skin, and the skin looks healthier. It is especially good at reducing scalelyness or powdery looks like on older skin (like mine). It seems healthful to your skin, but it may be a premature perception. I'd say give it a try.

Helpful Product
I am on my first bottle of the Ultra Magnesium Oil Spray - and have found it to be very effective.
I spray it on my arms and legs and experience a calming effect. I used to take an epsom salt bath occasionally after an especially stressful day at work and it would help calm down my system. Now I can actually use the spray and get the same effect. Believe me - that is very helpful.

Not too thrilled
The Swanson Ultra Magnesium Oil is not what I expected it to be. It tends to be sticky, and makes my arms itch. I have decided to use it on my feet. It seems to work well there.

Not what I thought
This product is not intended for a mag. deficancy. I assumed all mag oil was for the same purpose. This is for cosmetic use so it doesnt have dosage facts like mg's. Just dont want others to assume the same thing.

Sticky stuff!
I have been using this oil for several weeks and find it to be difficult to work with. The spray does not absorb quickly and tends to run right off my skin. I have resorted to applying the product with a cotton ball. It also leaves a sticky residue that is quite bothersome. However, it has proven to be effective, so I continue to use it.
