Great product
We believe that taking strontium is far better than taking supplemental calcium. Strontium along with D3 and magnesium works for us! My husband is nearly 90 and is seriously concerning joining with a dragon boat team as a rower. No, he has never been a fitness buff. He started exercising 20 minutes 4 times a week about 4 years ago, but did take supplements before that..

Stronger bones
Strontium Citrate was recommended to me about 6 years ago. My friend ordered hers from an independent supplier for about 4 times the cost as Swanson's brand. But I trusted Swanson's products so I buy their's. I have gotten the same benefit as my friend for a lot less money.

Great for bones
I had tried several products for bone health with little success. Then I tried strontium along with calcium and my next bone density test showed such improvement that my doctor said "keep doing what you are doing."
It is important to take the strontium and calcium separately - at least two hours apart. I have shopped around and, as usual, Swanson has the best price.

Bone health Important to Men too!
To start, the only reason I rated 4 in 2 of the categories is because I don't have any tests to prove them. Through my study I learned that Strontium and Boron are as important to bone health as calcium. In reviewing my diet I know that I am getting enough calcium but not those other trace minerals. I was recommended a complex that is very popular and a bit expensive. The ingredients included strontium and boron, and high dose of calcium. That would put me in danger of too much calcium. Obviously, the answer was to get strontium and boron separately in a dose that is in balance with my diet. Swanson gives me that flexibility and at a great price.

vital compliment to calcium
I find Strontium Citrate to be an important compliment to calcium supplements to maintain bone health. It IS important to follow directions on the bottle AND ALWAYS take more calcium than strotium citrate; about 1,000 mg calcium to a 340 mg strotium citrate cap. Taking more strotium citrate than calcium MAY lead to bone deformation over a long period of time. If you follow the directions, it should be safe and support good bone health.

Strontium is a necessary mineral
Listen up, ladies! This mineral is needed along with boron to build your bones and teeth. Believe me, plain calcium is not enough. Boron and strontium must be in your system as well to protect your teeth, your jawbones, and your bones as you age. Calcium is also necessary, but so are strontium and boron; additionally, the calcium should be taken at a different time of day because taken together they are far less effective. I take my calcium in the a.m. and my strontium and boron after supper. Swanson's brand is a great value!

Good product...
This is one of the supplements I use for proper bone health. Strontium Citrate, I have read, can help rebuild bone. I play it safe and also take adequate amounts of calcium, magnesium, boron, vitamin D etc, all for good bone health. Swanson offers good quality products at the best prices I have ever seen anywhere. Thank God for Swanson. More companies should be like them.

good product
This is a good product and I use it. I previously used another strontium citrate product from another company that was exactly the same, but Swanson sw1195 is less expensive when it is on sale so sw1195 is what I use now.

Good For Bone Health
Stontium is yet another good bone-health nutraceutical, that has scientific reports to back this claim. It supposedly assists in bone mineralization.
Most bone-health supplements do not contain strontium. This is because, according to claims, strontium needs to be taken separately from calcium supplements. Swanson again provides great value.
I recommend this product for a complete and well-rounded bone-health supplementation regimen.
