it really considered a powdered form of stevia.
i use it along with soy beans to made soy milk. a heaping table spoon to a quart of soy milk gives a sweet taste to the milk. and you can't beat the price of milk -- a reduction of 50%.

Stevia - Swanson brand
I have purchased this item several times from Swanson - That is a statement in itself - repeat business is the true test! It is smooth tasting and I do not find it bitter - Thanks Swanson for a quality product!

Better Option for me
I have been using another stevia product for years that included maltodextrin. I stopped using it recently and switched to the Swanson brand that doesn't contain maltodextrin. It doesn't taste as sweet, but is sufficient. But the thing I really noticed is that I do not crave sweet things all day any longer. I believe the added maltodextrin caused me to crave sweets. Very happy I switched. Also, the price is excellent.

Stevia - Oh What a Gift
I do love my stevia; both liquid and powder. It makes my tea just the right sweet, makes baked goods fabulous and is all around not bad for you. Cool!!

I have been quite consistently pleased with this 4-oz powder Stevia from Swanson as a way to use in place of sugar, especially when price is around $4.30 per jar.

All natural? extract? other ingredients
I bought the product because I was not reading the label carefully. I just read the ingredients. But there are other ingredients, that I missed. These include Fibersol®-2 is a registered trademark of Matsutani America a corn product. When I buy stevia I want an all natural product. not trademarked processed corn. It says stevia extract, but it should say standardized otherwise it is not clear. It is much less sweet than other products I had, and it does not taste good either.

I wished I would have ordered More
This stevia by far is the best I have ever used. It just sweetens everything much better with using less. I think I will order the larger one the next time because it is super potent and it is very delicious. Thanks Swanson for another great product.

I found this to be very bitter, even adding just a touch to recipies leaves everything I make tasteing awfull. I really would not recommend this product. But the xylitol and the coconut palm sugar work great.

I Was Very Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this product. I was expecting something labeled "Stevia Extract" to be PURE stevia extract. This product is less than 10% pure stevia extract--the rest is filler and it doesn't even taste all that good. I ended up giving it away. Wish I had read the label a little more closely before ordering this. Two thumbs down.

Swanson's stevia powder
So pleased with this product that I'm writing my first Swanson's review. This is the best stevia powder I've tried. The flavor is excellent and it dissolves easily in my tea. It should last a long time since it only takes about 1/8 teaspoon to sweeten a large cup of tea. Unlike this powder, the ones I've tried in the past didn't dissolve and a green powder floated to the top, leaving little sweetener in the tea itself.

Good Quality and Price
This is probably the most economical stevia product I've used. It takes very little to create sweetness in a drink. The label says to use a 1/2 teaspoon in a cup of coffee, but the amount would be so sweet my teeth would chatter! I use 1/8th of a teaspoon and it's plenty sweet. It does take a little stirring to get it completely dissolved but that's only because it has a little bit of sweet fiber which is good. I find the taste neutral, just sweet. I'm now on my second jar, the first seemed to last forever. This is a good product.

CHANGED?
Don't know why this product has to have a new giant sized jar for the same amount. (I transferred from the new jar to the old) Plus, it does not dissolve near as well in hot coffee, and even with stirring, still does not completely dissolve, as it did before. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

wonderful
i use this product everyday in my calli tea from sunrider products. i love the taste and the new soft powder form it desolves instantly. this is the best tasting stevia i have every bought and the most reasonably priced. thank you for such a good product.

change in ingredients
I guess you're darned if you do and darned if you don't... I've been ordering this Stevia powder for a long time and have been very satisfied... until... the honey powder was changed to Fibrosol which is derived from corn. Not sure I'm crazy about that.

Good Value, but Poorly Cut
This stevia powder is fine and a reasonable value. My main issue is with the other ingredients it is cut with. Pure stevia extract is much more concentrated than this stuff, and I'd prefer the product to be more concentrated. The other issue with it is it absorbs moisture from the air and hardens into a solid lump over time. That makes it unsuitable for individual serving use. I premix it with cocoa and other ingredients, which avoids the caking issue.

Not too sweet, not bitter
I have tried many stevia products. Some were more grainy, some more powdery. This is more of the powdery kind. I found that it is not as sweet as some of the others I have tried but it doesn't leave a strange or bitter after taste on my tongue. I don't use very much and it's going to go a long way - good value. Check your Stevia ingredient list to see what else you may be consuming.

My husband bought this for me a while ago and I still have most of it because it is pretty bitter. My daughters use it for their teas, but they are not crazy about it either. It does get a little clumpy. I am hoping to find one that does not have the bitter taste. I saw some good reviews on the liquid Stevia, so I think I am going to try that. I would not recommend this if you are bothered by a bitter taste.

Great tasting Stevia
I have usually used the liquid Stevia, but bought this product to use in baking. I happened to try it in my coffee and tea, and think the taste is great, sweet without any bitterness, definitely better than the liquid I've been using. I've had it for about two months now , (it's about half gone), and the consistency is still fine. I'm re-ordering.
