Makes great veggie burgers
I am a vegetarian and enjoy making my own homemade veggie burgers. However, I've had problems with them falling apart as I cook them. I decided to try adding psyllium husks and found that it's not only a good way to increase the fiber in my diet, it also helps those veggie burgers stick together!

I mix a heaping teaspoon into my breakfast drink every morning to keep my bowels regular. Since starting this over two years ago I've been feeling a lot better.

So affordable and such a great product. Is a KEY ingredient in my protein pancakes and breads. And yes, it definitely does what it says ;)

TJ's psyllium is cheaper and works just as well.

I have been using this product for several months and am very pleased with it. I use two heaping scoops in a glass of juice every morning before breakfast. I plan to continue using this product because the price and quality is equal to products that are far more costly. Thanks Swanson for another super buy!

Love that fiber
Just try to find plain psyllium fiber in the drug store! Most products have flavors and artificial sweeteners or other additives. I was so glad to find plain psyllium fiber at Swansons and I take it daily with low sugar juice. It really works.

I use this product for gluten free baking. It seems to work great, although I have only used it for pancakes so far.

Great unsweetened psyllium!
Do you know how hard it is to find unsweetened psyllium? It is impossible other than at a health food store. That is why I am so happy to be to find just what I need at Swanson, as usual. Personally I take a serving of psyllium once or twice a day by adding it to water sweetened with stevia. So easy! I will definitely order it again.

I used this along with Yerba Prima
Great Plains Bentonite Detox and found it it be wonderfully effective in improving the health & consistency of BM's. The taste, while not really pleasing, is not bad. I mix it in water with the bentonite and let the psyllium expand before drinking. I then have a second glass of water to ensure that I have drunk an adequate amount in the morning before breakfast. This combination was one of the most effective supplements I have tried for any reason with nearly immediate results forthcoming the following day.

Premium Psyllium Husk
Mixes easily since it's ground so fine, and does what it's supposed to do!

I like the fact that I'm not putting artificial sweeteners or sugar in my body every day in order to take a regular fiber supplement. This powder is finely milled, and tastes very fresh and neutral. It is a bit more difficult to dissolve than powders with sweeteners, but I've found that if I give it a stir, wait 20 seconds or so, and then stir again, it dissolves easily. I much prefer the size of the container over store brands' huge tank. Works as expected; great for an everyday fiber.

Worst Swanson Product!!!
We have used Swanson products and been very satisfied for many years. They have given a very good value for the money. So, we ordered 3 of the Swanson Premium Psyllium Husk with complete confidence. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement - it is the worst Swanson product we ever used. We will go back to Now psyllium.

product is effective, yet very difficult to dissolve. this is the only reason less than 5 leaf, this makes it very difficult to take,

Best quality I've purchased....
I have been purchasing Psyllium Husk from other sources and always just choked the stuff down either in my yogurt or my whey protein drink and sometimes just in water if I was in a hurry and it was always chewy and gritty in texture. So I had ran out and decided to try Swanson's brand and to my surprise it came in a much smaller container and it was very very fine. This is now my favorite Psyllium Husk. It makes my whey protein drinks taste like milk shakes, I can't really tell when I put it in my yogurt either. It has a nice little scoop included and I have 2 of them daily. Really like this product and will continue to purchase. Thank you.

Needs to be refined further!
Swanson really needs to refine this product into a finer powder consistency. This product is very sandy/gritty. This product is very affective though. I think I will stick with NOW Foods or Organic India as an alternative, for a extra few cents.

One of my favs
This product works very well for me, it looks scary but goes down easy and produces results without bloating or constipation, I just wish I could remember to take it more often.

This is a finely milled psyllium, with none of the additives (color, flavor, sweetener) that are found in excess in the flavored major brands. It does need a lot of stirring to get all the clumps broken up. Other than that, it goes down easily, and gets the job done!

The other reviewers seemed to LOVE this product, and I normally really like nearly ALL of Swanson's products, however I did not care for this product. Perhaps the others used it for different reasons.
Since this product is finely milled, I felt as if I was ingesting fine, powdered sand. It was gritty. I normally use psyllim from a large chain-store retailer, and the psyllium is light, "husky" and flaky. I use it primarily in my smoothies and I prefer that. No grit. (Sorry Swanson). 'Just a matter of preference.
